Drop In session for Play Tots at The Institute, Roe Lane, Woodborough, Nottingham. NG14 6DX

Time – 10:30am – 11:30am

Come and experience the magic of our Play Tots classes filled with endless amounts of fun, laughter and exploration through play.

Each class has a mix of sensory play, singing, dancing, stories, messy play, parachute games and much more. All activities are designed with your little ones in mind, to help aid their interaction and development whilst living their best lives having FUN 🤩

The class runs for an hour and is split into 2 sections. The first is 30 minutes combines a mix of play activities for you and your little one to enjoy together, bonding and exploring and having fun through play. The second 30 mins is free play, allowing little ones to explore the resources of the session whilst us adults get time to natter and have a well deserved beverage as well as a little bit of time out getting to know one another in a friendly, non judgement, supportive environment.

Play Tots is all about helping our little ones learn and grow through playing, making and exploring together

Play Tots is a unique baby and toddler group incorporating music and movement, singing and stories, different play activities, arts and crafts, messy play, sensory stimulation and a calming relaxation aimed at creating a perfect balance of activities for you and your little ones to enjoy together, whilst making new friends in a caring, supportive and non-judgemental environment filled with like minded people.

Play Tots offers several benefits for both you and your little ones including:

  • Socialisation – Our sessions provide an excellent opportunity for your little ones to interact with other children of similar ages, helping them to develop social skills, learn how to share, take turns, and co-operate with one another.
  • Language Development – Here at play tots, we are crazy and love a good story and sing along helping expose your little ones to a variety of language models, helping to enhance their language skills.
  • Motor Skills – Many of our activities support both your little ones fine and gross motor skills through various activities helping to improve and enhance their co-ordination, and physical ability including ball games, parachute games, running games, arts and crafts and a little bit of messy play too from time to time 🙂
  • Emotional Development – Towards the end of the session their will be a quietened story, followed by a relaxing sensory experience under one of our sensory blankets allowing your little ones time to relax and unwind before going home.
  • Support for you – Here at Play Tots we are also here for you, as a mum of 3 I understand that at times family life is wonderful, full of joy, laughter and fun but at the times it can be overwhelming, confusing, and extremely tiring therefore I have planned the group so half the session is structured and the second half allows your little ones some free time to explore the activities and have some free play whilst you have a moment to make new friends, speak to familiar faces too, relax and have a moment with a drink and biscuit to just take a breathe and some time out for you.

Our aim is to offer a nurturing and stimulating environment in which you and your little ones can grow, learn and have fun together as you become part of our My Time Out family xx
